With a background in communications management I have proven experience in managing projects from initial concept through to implementation.
I have particular expertise in managing publications and have been involved in producing many new publications from scratch, and also re-energising existing publications for several high profile clients.
Here are a couple of examples…
I was asked to update the University of Liverpool’s alumni magazine in 2004. The client wanted a livelier, more reader-friendly publication with more of a ‘lifestyle magazine’ feel, and more opportunities for alumni to interact with the magazine and University. I was responsible for editing, creating content, including writing copy, commissioning copywriting, photography and illustration, as well as managing design, print and distribution to more than 100,000 Liverpool graduates.
